COMPANY DEVELOPMENT

In 1999, Marwan and Elizabeth Alabbasi opened their first business, MGM Texaco, a Fuel Service Station/Truck Stop development in Jurupa Valley, CA.  By 2006, they owned and operated multiple restaurants and gas stations throughout the Inland Empire, one even stretching into the high desert.  Future plans to build a new retail center as well as several other projects, inspired Marwan and Elizabeth to venture into the construction industry.   This incidentally initiated the company Mamco Inc. dba Mamco Construction into being formed. 

Mamco Inc. was primarily used to perform work on self-owned developments.  It wasn't until 2009 when sons, Rami and Rumzi Alabbasi joined the company, did Mamco Inc. enter into their first contract with a third-party to build a new Farmer Boy's Restaurant in Highland, CA.  They continued to contract work In the private commercial field until 2011, when the company moved into the Public Works Sector and was awarded the contract for a $5M project located in Canyon Lake, CA.  The company's success and rapid growth over the next year required the Alabbasis to evaluate the company's image and branding, which resulted in a DBA change to Alabbasi Construction in 2012.

Since then, Alabbasi Construction has extended their scope of work to include Flood Control, Street Improvements, Wet Utilities, Grading, Concrete Flatwork, and Structural Concrete.  They relocated their headquarters to Perris, CA and in 2016 became a signatory contractor to the Southwest Carpenter's Union and Southern California Laborer's Union. 

Today, Alabbasi Construction continues to thrive in both the Private and Public Works sectors and remains a leader in the Heavy Civil Construction Market.
